The Instruction of gateau opera

  • preheat oven to 200u00b0c grease and line base of a 20cm square cake pan
  • beat the sugar and 3 eggs in an electric mixer for 5 minutes or until pale in a separate bowl disturb eggwhites until stiff peaks form then fold into the egg mixture intensify almond meal flour and baking powder and with intent fold into egg mixture enhance into pan and bake for 20 minutes or until cooked taking into account cool sever from pan and with intent cut into 3 thin layers

  • to make ganache place chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water dont let the bowl be adjacent to lie alongside the water until the chocolate melts bring milk to the boil in a separate saucepan then intensify subsequently chocolate sever from heat and cool stirring occasionally fold cream into the chocolate mixture
